Look who braided her hair..
Good Afternoon Loves,
I wish i had taken this day off just to have four days for a weekend..man! Good thing is that this will be be slow afternoon in terms of work…a bit of consolation right there
So let’s talk about my hairdo and outfit, shall we. All naturalistas can attest to the fact that handling our mane and especially if you have type 4C like i do is no mean feat. It’s a bit of work and hard work during wash days though the results are always good because you get to handle your own hair with care, patience and all the attention it deserves. My scalp is a bit sensitive and that’s the reason why i fret when it comes to protective styling,so i have been doing it once a year.My gal Buyeke of platinum-queen.com inspired me to do something different and braid my hair this time round;my greatest uncertainty was how i would look and whether I would be able to bear the tight knots on my scalp. It was not so bad after all because the lady who worked on my hair was extra gentle and understood where i was coming from and so she took her time to make sure i had a smooth transition, thanks to her,I’ll be braiding again before the year ends. Can we talk about how rested i am away from wash days and detangling…feels so good…God Bless the Inventor of Protective styles
My outfit was inspired by one Grace Alex (t2pitchy Instagram and her blog-www.gafashion.net) Loved how two shades of green blended in so well contrasted by the white brogues and a red lip.The outcome is beyond what i envisioned.
Have an awesome weekend and thank you for dropping by
